Libana

With beautiful voices, Libana sings mostly a cappella chants and songs from cultures around the world,
with an emphasis on "women's creativity throughout time". The group began in 1979 with director Susan Robbins.
Here are a few chants pagans may recognize from the 1986 album CD "A Circle is Cast" :

Note: The first voice is a monotone D note; the second voice adds the notes A and C for a D7 (no third) sound; the third voice descant introduces the edgy Ab, F# and E notes for the Db5 sound; With a little adjustment, the voices come together at the end with a full D chord (D, F#,A) and Am (A,C,E).

note: the "!" is a hammer on sign for the Em chord. Play the 5th & 4th strings open then hammer on the second fret with your fingers to make the appropriate sound.
