1. Lord Steffan is known for world wide for

Meat, bread and confection

Woe upon the brash young fool

  Who’d improve upon perfection  (CH)

 

 

2. The serving maidens blocked the door

And entreated the fool to listen

Begging him to mind their cries

To stay out of Steffan’s kitchen  (CH)

 

3. (Spoken/Engish accent):

Lord Steffan, this stew needs stirring

And Lord Steffan, this sauce needs butter

Lord Steffan, this needs flying tiger hot sauce

(sung): Steffan kept stepping round this nutter 

 

Steffan said I need no assistance, Fool said,

(Spoken/Engish accent):

I’m not help, I’m here to teach!

(sung): Steffan would have strangled the fool

But he move just out of reach

 

Steffan said “I have an honored task

Far beyond my expertise

I need a good eye to mind the roast

And cook it well, if you please”

 

The fool opened the oven to mind the roast, and asked,

(Spoken/Engish accent): “But what am I looking for?

(sung): A shove from behind, the fool then disappeared

Behind the sealed oven door  (Ch)

4. The first remove was fruit and cheese

The second was salad and broth of peas

The third was chicken and good rice

The fourth was veggies, and something called

Brisket Fool Surprise

Plus lemonade and ice tea amply served

At last, all got their just dessert

The feasters said, “Steffan, we loved the feast

And we do not mean to scoff

The chicken was superb

     G

The veggies as well,

          A                D

But the brisket was a bit off
